Sudden bill Spikes: “Have you ever received an unusually high bill at what feels odd times, followed by a normal bill the next month with no clear explanation on where all the water went to like your bill indicated earlier?”
Utility Estimation: Share instances where you suspect either the meter reader or office admins are estimating meter readings. Become aware who is reading your meter each month, make a point to acquaint yourself the day your meter is being read. Take pictures and videos of the meter reader walking checking meters.
Action Steps: Discuss methods that could be used to verify true usage, (flow meters, sub‑metering, manual logs) and how to dispute inaccurate charges.
